Happy Tuesday! Our art car inspiration for today is Bixi 909 Mutant Vehicle! This art car was designed by a team known as Moonwalk Mission who live to exemplify the Burning Man principles such as artistic, emotional, and personal freedoms. Based on a creature of Chinese mythology, Bixi 909 bears the head of a dragon and the body of a tortoise; the hard shell represents resilience, while the beast as a whole symbolizes longevity and good fortune. Weighing in at four tons, this legendary mutant can carry 100 people across the Playa sands and still have a comfortable amount of dancing room.
