ACID 18: Further

A bright symbol of the 1960s, the Furthur bus was the psychedelic fueled cross country adventure of Ken Kasey and his Merry Band of Pranksters. The group intended to drive from California to the World Fair in New York, filming their counterculture trip along the way

ACID 12: Bixi 909

Bixi 909 bears the head of a dragon and the body of a tortoise; the hard shell represents resilience, while the beast as a whole symbolizes longevity and good fortune. Weighing in at four tons, this legendary mutant can carry 100 people across the Playa sands and still have a comfortable amount of dancing room.

ACID 9: Big Imagination (Boeing) 747 Project

Here's our latest ACID! Set to be the largest art car to ever grace the Playa, Big Imagination Foundation have been piecing together a Boeing 747 masterpiece for Burning Man beginning in 2016. The concept includes an "insecurity checkpoint," in which visitors drop off their emotional baggage in writing before boarding. Once inside, they will find visionary art, new friends, and a place for dreams to come alive.

ACID 5: Davina the Dragon

In her time she has seen people fall in love and get married atop her back, the celebration of anniversaries and friendships, performers inspired to join aerial arts after playing on the lyra, and children who took her magic and created some of their own.

ACID 2: Heavy Meta

Heavy Meta is an exquisite demonstration of steel work, re-purposing a simple car into something of pure magic. What compels us most to discuss Heavy Meta is their faith in community. Nearly 200 Torontonians worked on this project alone!
