A bright symbol of the 1960s, the Furthur bus was the psychedelic fueled cross country adventure of Ken Kasey and his Merry Band of Pranksters. The group intended to drive from California to the World Fair in New York, filming their counterculture trip along the way

ACID 16: XUZA
Art Car Inspiration Day brings us XUZA Art Car 2017, a five year old art car identified by it's magnificent mask. This UV-reactive mutant vehicle lights up with colors at night. Recent upgrades include fresh coats of UV Reactive White Paint, generators, a new façade and of course more LED lighting.

ACID 15: The Flying Camel Pirate Ship
With a maiden voyage in 2015, The Flying Camel Pirate Ship is touted as the first mutant vehicle to sail the Israeli playa. It can be found at Israel's regional burn, Midburn. The ship is known for showcasing art including DJs spinning diverse sounds, from techno to trap, progressive to hiphop, and much more.

ACID 14: Upside Down Truck
Today's Art Car Inspiration Day is dedicated to the Upside Down Truck. Car enthusiast Rick Sullivan spent six months and $6000 to create this attention grabber out of a Ford pickup truck with a 1995 F-150 pickup.

Its attractions have changed through the years, upgrading from a box of those Internet Free Trail CDs to a complete sound system, mesmerizing LEDs and lights, a disco ball, flame thrower and even a keg named Keggy.
