ACID 21: Porta Party's "Hell's Diner"

ACID 21 is dedicated to Camp Porta Party's "Hell's Diner." Researching this camp, it became quickly apparent that its ethos embody The 10 Principles. They are well deserving of a mention, as a great example of the prank humor, gifting and art projects found at Burning Man.

Porta Party was thought up in 2014 as a prank. It made it's first trip to Burning Man in 2015, with a remote controlled porta potty, fitted with speakers and LEDs. Now the camp has its eyes and bowels set on a mutant vehicle, Hell's Diner, designed by Californian Kaweh Guido.

Hell's Diner is a '92 Chevy P37 motorhome decorated to resemble a classic American diner — the kind you might see Guy Fieri eating at. It contains a kitchen, propane oven, full bar, roof for bands or DJs, heavy (10K watt) sound system and enough art to make visitors marvel and stay a while.

Like our King Chill bus project, Hell's Diner is mostly self-funded. Its Go Fund Me is scraping together a small amount of money for a very large project. We hope our readers will check it out and donate, because who doesn't like art and pizza?
