REPOSTS: 'KKK poster boy reveals new trans identity' and 'Squad Rep’s YouTube Page Is a Conspiracy Theorist’s Dream'

I’m still focusing on my other blog, Jude. But it’s been a week since a post on this primary blog. Rather than rush to pub an open draft, I’ll share two stories I read via The Free Press newsletter.

The first is about a KKK member who now identifies as trans. For me, the story isn’t about a child pushed into the spotlight of a hate group, who later regretted it. No. I fully expect the children being pushed towards hateful ideologies, especially blind Palestine Support, to need endless therapy. The real story is about the Jewess partner. I hesitate to blindly defend someone who dated an ex-KKK Member, but Kol Hakavod, I guess? I don’t know. You can read the story here on England’s greatest tabloid, Daily Mail, where the comments are as divided as expected: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13371433/R-Derek-Black-KKK-white-supremacists-shocks-trans.html

The other story relates to a member of The Squad, the faux-progressive hate group that cries about Israel’s existence. This time it is about Jamaal Bowman, the devout H@mas apologist, who refused to acknowledge antisemitism is an issue on a hearing about antisemitism, has a history of believing 9/11 Truth conspiracies and tried to delay a House bill by pulling a fire alarm (on video). You can read it on one of the worst, most antisemitic, tabloids circulating today, The Daily Beast. https://www.thedailybeast.com/squad-rep-jamaal-bowmans-youtube-page-is-a-bonkers-conspiracy-filled-trip PS I’m surprised Daily Beast hasn’t gone full mask off on their Jew hate as they run out of business. But they will. Just wait.

I am not copying/pasting these stories because 1. I don’t have time 2. I did not get permission to, nor do I see these stories already mirrored to other sites.

Short Analysis

Individuals embedded within controversial groups can evolve in their thinking. Both stories shared, although centered around vastly different ideologies and contexts, underscore the role of misinformation in reinforcing extreme views and the potential for personal transformation.

Derek Black, once a rising star in the white supremacist movement, underwent a profound change in belief after attending college and being exposed to diverse perspectives and friendships that challenged his previously held views. His story, as detailed in the Daily Mail, highlights a journey from indoctrination to rejection of racist ideologies, showing a complete transformation and public disavowal of his past beliefs.

Jamaal Bowman has been associated with controversial and extreme positions via the content shared on his YouTube page, which has drawn criticism and raised concerns about the spread of misinformation. However, similar to Black, Bowman has shown moments of reflection and regret, such as discussing his feelings about his 9/11 conspiracies and pulling a House fire alarm.

Simply put: I expect Bowman to stop championing hateful conspiracies, the second he doesn’t have a monetary incentive to. He can pretend to be on the left, but his intolerance is demonstratably worse than an ex-KKK member’s. The Squad will continue to encourage his hate. [PS Macklemore, who recently championed Israel as a “white colonial” state, is also a faux-left, 9/11 Truther, race-baiter and all around horrible person.]

Groups that propogate hate, whether it’s the KKK or The Squad, have complex issues with maintaining members because people can progress and learn tolrance. These hate groups reflect how misinformation perpetuates hatred and division, and how accountability is needed for remorse and a shift away from extremist views. We must hold hate groups accountable for their words to make a better world.
