Repost: List of Levant-area Massacre of Jews before 1948
There is a fascinating myth, “There was peace in Palestine/MENA before those {{Zio Jews}} came!”
You may first seen this myth in works like Mein Kampf, where Hitler says, ”It doesn’t even enter (the Zionist Jew) heads to build up a Jewish state in Palestine for the purpose of living there; all they want is a central organization for their international world swindle… a haven for convicted scoundrels and a university for budding crooks.”
Yes, Mein Kampf starts off with this myth. But we’re told that this time, the people saying it don’t want to murder the Jews.
No, instead they just want you to believe particularly incredible, easily debunked, lies.
The first, that a Palestine region or state, maybe even a Palestinian Kingdom, existed with little or no Jews, despite all records of Jews living in this region. Even Marx, who hated Jews, addressed that Jews were always numerous in Jerusalem.
The second piece of this bizarre lie is that there was once peace… in a region famous for warring clans and kingdoms, a group that is in constant civil war had peace. I can’t even write about how many massacres happened between Judea and Zionism, but, these people think there was world peace… and then Jews happened.
Nevermind that the Free Palestine cult still openly chants about “Khaybar.” So they know Jews were suffering in MENA.
Instead of trying to establish the good character of Jews, a population known for charitableness, alongside endless contributions to the arts and sciences, I need to address just how violent “Palestine” was until modern Israel. It was worse.
I don’t expect it to change the clueless narrative of the #FreePalestine death cult. Many still refer to Israel as a “haven for convicted scoundrels” while insisting they’re antizionist, just don’t ask where their terminology originated. But if you don’t know history of the region people obssess over, just remember that both world wars (and almost every war) happened before 48.
Below is a list of times Jews and other groups were massacred by Arabs. All predate the lame, “but I’m antizionist, not antisemtic!” excuse.
Note: I have seen this list attributed to Peter Baum, but I can not verify where it came from. More recently, I posted this to Reddit. There was a lot of “debate” about whether a few of these many incidents were akin to wars where Jews joined the losing side. You are free to try to contextualize every war and massacre if you choose.

622 – 627: ethnic cleansing of Jews from Mecca and Medina, (Jewish boys publicly inspected for pubic hair. if they had any, they were executed)
629: 1st Alexandria Massacres, Egypt
622 – 634: extermination of the 14 Arabian Jewish tribes
822 – 861: Islamic empire passes law that Jews must wear yellow stars, (a lot like Nazi Germany), Caliph al-Mutawakkil
1106: Ali Ibn Yousef Ibn Tashifin of Marrakesh decrees death penalty for any local Jew, including his Jewish Physician, and Military general.
1033: 1st Fez Pogrom, Morocco
1148: Almohadin of Morocco gives Jews the choice of converting to Islam, or expulsion
1066: Granada Massacre, Muslim-occupied Spain
1165 – 1178: Jews nation wide were given the choice (under new constitution) convert to Islam or die, Yemen
1165: chief Rabbi of the Maghreb burnt alive. The Rambam flees for Egypt.

Post 1948, Arab pogroms on Jews continued
The big difference pre-WW2 and post-WW2 was that the Jews were blamed each time they were massacred after, especially after the rise in Palestiniasm.
Palestinianism has taken the victim blaming and chants for violence to new heights. It’s not just Khaybar anymore, now they want to throw Jews into the river and sea. And then everyone sings kumbaya, I guess.
Sure, the list does not include all the pogroms and European genocides of Jews. There are just too many.
But myths like “there was peace during the time when WW1 and WW2 happened, then Jews happened” exist precisely because antisemitism and bigotry is rooted in ignorance. It requires the ability to ignore all the Islamofascist states, the ancient and ongoing Arabization of MENA and instead point fingers at Jews.
Sadly, the lies about US and Israel being the root of all evil are not going away. Nor are false and bizarre historical takes.
