The Empire Strikes Out

My mom grew up in apartheid South Africa, where she protested the system and dated Black men before it was acceptable. I was raised with real liberal values: anti-racism, anti-authoritarianism, and, an inherited distaste for British history and culture. I resisted that last part for a long time. But after spending just four months in London, I had to admit: she was right. Moms are always right. British culture sucks!!!

This isn’t about British people as individuals. I’ve dated some lovely Brits. I love British music, esp. drum & bass. But as a culture, especially one that still pretends to be moral authority to the world, it’s superficial, self-important, and ironically self-defeating. It’s known for bad food, worse weather and little else.

Take their treatment of Israel, the country they actively sabotaged from the start, purely out of self interest. I’ve already written about how the British propped up the Grand Mufti, the so-called “Father of Palestine,”a man so violently antisemitic even Hitler found him extreme (link). And I’ve shared how British “Palestine supporters” chose war over coexistence, with sources from Haaretz and British intelligence (link).

This post, though, is more of a general overview, spurred by JInsta (Jewish Instagram) voices I don’t often agree with, but do always like. I agree with them and much of the world on this: Britain has collapsed. Not because it was “too tolerant,” because it was never tolerant to begin with. I lived there. It’s racist as hell.

The British love to say awful things, then hide behind the excuse of “just joking.” They’re not. Their favorite punchline is playing dumb—baiting you into overexplaining just so they can pounce on a mistake. They mask it all with self-deprecating humor, but the real joke is on anyone naïve enough to believe it’s sincere.

Politics aren’t everything. And I can excuse ancient history. But there’s just little to celebrate here. British culture is famous for class obsession, escorting, and a whitewashed monarchy that bans intermarriage and quietly excludes minorities from working in the castles. The fashion is terrible. The beer is warm, but they chug it at lunch to get through the day. The weather is sad. The censorship is Orwellian (unless you’re famous). And their “elite” MBA programs are glorified etiquette classes. They normalized pub culture as personality, exported English to 88 countries through colonization, and now act like Israel is the problem.

Nobility, aristocrats, and lifelong academics who've never stepped foot in the real world—they're the problem. Russian oligarchs living in London are the problem. Arafat’s multimillionaire daughter, who literally owns a street in London, while her people starve, is the problem. The EDM radio stations like BBC 4 and NTS, that couldn’t pause for even a moment to condemn the Nova massacre, but somehow managed two years of nonstop rants against Israel, is the problem. The artists obsessed with pointing fingers at Israel, but never at any other governments—Russia, China, Britain itself—are the problem.

I once ran an experiment. About a decade ago, well before the last two wars, I emailed Hospital Records when it was still ran by the notoriously antisemitic Tony Coleman (aka London Elektricity), using different aliases. Some aliases mentioned Jewish identity, some didn’t. First, the non-Jewish names got a shoutout. Later, I got a shoutout, but the mention of Jewish orgs was dismissed. Then, during one of Tony’s podcast livestreams, I asked about the story that the royal estate had zero Black employees. He briefly called it “tragic,” then immediately pivoted to the one issue,sperating Earth from Eden in his eyes: Israel.

I don’t endorse everything in the posts below, but I agree with most of it. If every Jew in the UK made aliyah tomorrow and took their skills and capital with them, I wouldn’t mourn. Let Britain—the Illuminati island that now produces little of value—fend for itself. It’s time they took heat, instead of blaming US and Israel for problems that they perpetuated long before either state existed.

Were it not for Britain's moral cowardice in the face of Arab aggression Israel wouldn’t be in this situation, and neither would Europe. Their empire is dead, their country has been overrun by barbarians, their women are being raped, and their children are being taught to accept it.

Britain did not decline. It fled. Not with dignity, but as cowards. And the first to suffer for its retreat were those under its so-called protection – the Jews of the Mandate, abandoned not because Britain stood for Arab rights, but because it could not longer stand for its own values.

In 1921, they amputated the homeland they promised. In 1929, they looked away as Jews were butchered. In 1936, they crushed Jewish resistance to appease a revolt. By 1939, they sealed Europe’s Jews behind Nazi borders and locked the gates to the Jewish homeland.

This was not strategy. This was cowardice.

Britain fled again in 1947, leaving behind a land soaked in blood and lies. Then in 1967, and 1973, it traded loyalty for oil. It condemned Israel for surviving what Britain no longer had the strength to face.

Now the empire that once ruled the seas, ended slavery, and civilized the world cannot protect its own daughters from being made sex slaves by the barbarians within their own gates.

Cities rot, courts bow, mobs rule, and in a vindictive act of jealousy the once great Britain condemns the one people who refuse to succumb to the barbaric Jihadis.

There is no nobility left in that crown. Only memory. And the rust of all it abandoned.
