In 2012 Abbas said both, “I believe that West Bank and Gaza is Palestine, and the other parts (are) Israel.” and “We don’t want to use terror…” In 2023, Abbas was given 30 minutes to speak to the UN. During his hour long tirade, he renegged on both claims, saying, “I want Safed,” and “keep the ground aflame with popular resistance.”
